Few weeks ago I came back home thinking, mmm stores sell pots with pasta salad such “chicken bacon or tuna or shrimps” and I’ve thought why I have to spend £ 2.50/3.00 when I can do on my own!?!?
So I remember have some vegs left in the fridge, that all thetime I was opening the fridge their were looking at me saying “when you are going to coock me”, the only ingridients I’ve bought were yogurt and sour cream and here there is my chicken pasta!
For the veg, I‘ve just blanched for really 5 minutes the baby courgettes and cooked for nearly 10 the green beans, but be careful with them always checked them to be sure they don’t go mashy. Chicken, as always boiled in vegetable stock until tender. Pasta unfortunately I had this big size pasta I do prefer the small one that are easy and better for pasta salad but is the same. Use the short pasta you have in your pantry!
For the sauce ¼ cup of yogurt, 2 tbsp of sour cream and and 3 of mayo, pinch of salt, some black peppers, some dried herbs, in my house there is plenty of Italian seasoning…and that’s it…you will save quite few pounds and you don’t have to eat all the time the canteen food that normally is frozen food that they cooked…always with chips…
